TGH’s Emergency Room is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, providing dependable emergency care when our community needs it most. Our experienced team includes emergency physicians and specially trained nurse practitioners who are prepared to evaluate and treat a wide range of illnesses and injuries.
When additional expertise is needed, TGH is connected to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson through a live telemedicine system. This technology allows our providers to consult with UMMC specialists in real time, helping patients receive timely, informed care without having to leave the community whenever possible.
On-site laboratory and radiology services are also available around the clock to support prompt testing, diagnosis and treatment. From sudden illnesses and injuries to more serious medical emergencies, our goal is to provide fast, accurate and compassionate care close to home.
