We deliver high quality, cost effective outpatient intravenous therapy for acute and chronic conditions and disorders.  We offer professional clinical services in an at home environment created to make the patient‘s experience more comfortable and relaxed.

Our professional of staff of registered nurses and pharmacists are well trained and experienced in intravenous therapy.  By teaming with you the physician and by our staff providing constant supervision, you are assured the highest quality care for your patients.

With our personalized approach, patients seldom wait to receive their infusion/injection.  Once a new patient is pre-certified by your office for the prescribed medication, they will be scheduled within hours if at all possible.

We want to work with you to insure your patients receive the IV therapies they need and require to live a productive life.

Easy Referral Process

We will provide you a referral packet.  The first page is a standard physician’s order form.  You may use the form as is or you may make additions as needed or required.  Fax the Physician’s order to (662)625-3086, along with a copy of the patient’s insurance cards, current lab work, and supporting documentation.  Once the referral is received, along with the pre-certification by the insurance if required, the patient will be scheduled within hours if possible.

Home Health Agencies

Your Home Health Agency can provide a referral for our services when the patient does not meet home health criteria.  By making a referral to our Outpatient Infusion Services, you can lower your agency’s cost, all the while knowing your patient is receiving the utmost in quality care.  This referral process in cost effective for your agency by 1)decreasing the frequency of nursing visits to provide home infusion 2) decreasing your agency’s call-back and overtime pay and 3)freeing nurses to perform additional visits and admissions.

We have created a comfortable relaxed home-like setting in our infusion department which provides the patient not only with the infusion and/or injection they need, but also the customer service that people have come to expect from Tallahatchie General Hospital.

Call our Outpatient Infusion Services if you have questions and we will be glad to assist you in determining if our services are right for your agency.

Nursing Home Facilities

Non Part A nursing home residents can receive all injections/infusions (Reclast/Bonival/Xolair, Iron, ect.) along with other IV infusion therapies at no cost to your facility.  Tallahatchie General Hospital’s Outpatient Infusion Services will bill Medicare, Medicaid, and/or private insurances for these services directly.

While not under Part A care, Medicare/Medicaid does not expect nursing home facilities to provide these costly infusion/injection therapies under their current fixed rate payment system. You facility would benefit financially by referring residents to us for these services as it would not detract from your current PPS payment.

We can provide infusions from daily antibiotics to protective and/or preventative therapies that are only given weekly, monthly or even just once a year.

Call the Outpatient Infusion Services if you have questions and we will be glad to assist you in determining is our services are right for your facility.
